Greg Rippon
Greg Rippon is Managing Principal of Net Focus, a consulting firm
that focuses on bridging the gap between IT and business in large
organisations. His experience across the spectrum of IT and business
strategy, combined with his skills in helping executives to think
differently, result in a unique ability to both devise focused strategies
and carry them through to successful execution.
The broad scope of Greg's client work includes developing IT strategy
for a variety of high-profile clients covering domains as diverse
as networks, security, storage, telecommunications, architecture,
senior project management roles, risk management, and business planning
projects. Prior to founding Net Focus in 1996 Greg held senior consulting
and technology roles in organisations including Unisys, First State
Computing, NSW Police Department and GIO.
Greg holds a B.Bus in Computing from the University of Western
Sydney and is a practitioner for Global Business Network Australia.
He has spoken at a number of conferences and was previously a member
of Unisys' global Open Technology Framework Advisory Council.
Net Focus clients include Leighton Holdings, Macquarie Bank, St
George Bank, Mercantile Mutual and Unisys.
